Silver National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) Training and Assessment

Silver National Navigation Award £90 per person Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th November

This two-day course builds on basic map skills. Our NNAS Silver courses are held in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

The days run from 10am until around 4pm and the course concludes with a short assessment. 

The syllabus at Silver level covers: • Understanding the compass • Using the compass to measure map distances • Accurately measuring distances on the ground • Taking and following bearings • Following a course over pathless terrain • Understanding map symbols and how they relate to ground features 

Price for Silver NNAS Training & Assessment (2 day course) £90 including all instruction, training and assessment at appropriate level and certificate upon successful completion of the course.
